All trails are well signposted, but some have exposed sections (especially Schilthorn and Bryndli) — a proper map is strongly recommended.

The flat alternative
The one (almost) flat route
EasygoingStarting at the cable car station at the top of the village, the path runs through the village and on to Winteregg, then Grütschalp. Legs tired? Hop on the train back to Mürren from either Winteregg or Grütschalp station.
The only route in the area without constant up-and-down — great for little legs, strollers, or an easy afternoon.
Every other trail in the area goes constantly up and down — worth knowing before you commit to a route with little ones or tired legs.
